6550A Pm is the classic coke bottle 6550A that was branded by PM tubes. The valve was very popular with amplifier manufactures such as Mesa Boogie and Peavey who used this as their own brand.

The valve is a small coke bottle design with top mica with 4 support rods and mica side inserts to prevent rattle and double side getter.

The valve is noted for its smooth musical distortion and is biting attack The midrange is warm and the bass response is very solid. The top end is very clear with a nice top end crunch.

Many customers like these for use as regulators in Audio amplifier and power supplies.

We have limited stocks of this new old stock gem and sadly they are only available in singles we cannot supply matched items.
