Way Huge was launched 1992 by founder Jeorge Tripps and made some legendary pedals. In late 1999 the company closed its doors when Tripps went to work for Line 6. In 2008 Tripps and the company moved to Dunlop Manufacturing and resurrected the Way Huge line.
Way Huge Pork & Pickle Bass Overdrive & Fuzz is marketed for bass players but is also a great pedal for guitar players. It is a combination of two of Way huge most popular units namely the Pork Loin Overdrive combined with the fuzz of the Russian Pickle Fuzz in a friendly pedal board size.

The pedal has Volume, Drive, Tone, clean tone and clean blend. A toggle switch allows you to select the pedals operation from Overdrive or Fuzz. Way Huge, by partnering the warm soft clipping crunch of its Pork Loin Overdrive with the thick set fuzz of the Russian Pickle Fuzz have produced a remarkable combination.

Bass players can get crunchy valve amp style tone from your class D rig but old valve amp users are rewarded with that dirty fat overdriven tone that comes from overrunning a valve power section.

For any guitarist the clean blend tone controls allow mixing the Pork Loin Overdrives clean preamp signal into the mix. You can use this on either the overdrive or fuzz side this is great for setting the sound correctly in the mix or getting the overdriven tone just right.

The pedal, whether it is for the guitarist or the bassist has 4 internal controls that allow you to set level of either overdrive or fuzz effect, plus curve which adds fatness and finally presence to add high end to further tweak the Pork Loin tone.

Although the Pork & Pickle was much heralded as Way Huges first pedal for bassists this is excellent for guitar players also as you really get two pedals in one.
