Our Mesa Boogie specially selected Cryo full revalve kits are designed to enable you to get the best sound out of your Mesa Boogie amplifier. These sets consist of specially position selected Cryo treated pre amp valves that have been selected for each position of your Mesa amplifier. In the output stage we use specially cryogenically treated valves that have been selected to work with the Mesa boogies fixed bias arrangement. Certain output valves will be better for certain kinds of music and therefore to make your choice easier we have indicated this in our product description. Mesa Boogie amps have pioneered the way in multi channel high gain amplifiers and with these cryogenically treated valves sets this will take your sound to a new level.

This full revalve kit consists of specially selected Harma Retro Cryo valves for Mesa Boogie amplifiers and has been designed to give your Mesa more top end transparency with the classic warm tone and rich creamy distortion that many players require out of their Mesa amplifiers.

The pre amplifier valves are specially selected for Mesa amplifiers for low microphonics and gain and the kit includes a balanced valve for the phase inverter position.

The output valves have been specially burst tested as all Harma output valves are under real working conditions to ensure the utmost reliability. The output valves have also been specially selected to run with Mesas non- adjustable fixed bias arrangement.

The Harma ECC83 Retro Cryo pre amp valve offer more harmonic warmth with more transparency in the midrange. The outstanding feature of the Harma ECC83 Retro is its smooth linear midrange response and clarity under overdriven conditions. So you get smooth warm singing overdrive with tight fat punchy lows. This has become our most popular pre amp valve for Mesa amplifiers.

The Harma 6L6GC Retro Cryo is a re issue of the famous Sylvania STR 387. It features the same anode plate design with internal bracing and has extra thick mica spacers with steel spacers which reduces vibrations, rattle and microphonics which is a problem with many modern 6L6GC.

Sound wise, the Harma 6L6GC Retro provides a clear extended treble response in order to spice up old vintage amps and also cater for the modern high gain sound. In overdriven mode the valve has a creamy touch sensitive response which makes it our choice for use in Mesa amplifiers.
