So when you combine this with Watford Valves special test facilities you get a GT distortion rated output valves which has also undergone our own unique real world burst testing and then dual matched by us on current and gain. All pre amp valves in addition to GT in house testing are then drive tested by us and checked for noise and microphoney. We believe this combination gives you the best tested valves available anywhere in the world.
The Groove Tubes 12AX7 Mullard reissue was instigated by Aspen Pittman with Groove Tubes following the Mullard design and production techniques meticulously.

Groove Tubes use the triple mica design of the original Mullard which greatly reduces hum and microphonics. They have also followed the famous ladder plate design and the same Mullard plate welding process which gave the original Mullard is famous stability.

More importantly, sonically they made an absolute classic; they have made a valve that has the dynamics and the bite of the originals.

This valve has a super midrange warmth and clarity but what sets this valve apart from all the other current production is it has that bite and when pushed produces that instant CLAPTON Bluesbreaker tone. These ECC83 really kick, install these and you will not be disappointed.
