The cryogenic process removes any hint of harshness from the valves tone and gives the valve far better imaging with more focus and bite. This results in crystal clear cleans and extra bite and rich sustaining harmonics when overdriven.

The dramatic effect cryogenic treatment has on the way the valve performs not only in clean applications but also when overdriven is remarkable.

In Overdriven mode, the Cryo GT 6L6GC G.E produces a nice warm crunch tone that is wonderfully open and balanced. It has more bite than the untreated item and has a more enhanced top end sparkle. The bass response is noticeably tighter with the complex midrange overtones producing more clarity and punch. Crunchy and dynamic tones with a clear creamy warm sustain.

This Cryo Set delivers a clear open sound with the cleanest top end transparency out of any current valve set up. This chime and clarity excels when overdriven as it provides a rich warm overdrive sound when distorted with excellent balance and no hardness. It offers the best clarity when overdriven with a treble booster or gain pedals.

We take selected GT items and in addition to GTs in house testing and distortion rating on output valves they also undergo our own unique real world burst testing. The burst testing process involves a series of varying timed electrical signal bursts. This runs the valves under the same stress conditions that they will meet in your amplifier. All out put valves are then dual matched by us on current and gain. This along with the Cryo treatment will ensure that you not only get the best selected GT valves available anywhere in the world, you will also get the best sounding ones
