The Marshall Original Superlead 1959 Classic Retro Cryo full revalve kit is specially selected for Marshall 1959, 1959S,1959X & 1959 SLP 100 watt Heads.

The Classic Marshall kits are designed to give your Marshall the Classic British Rock Tone.This is done by using modern day production valves that are traditionally voiced and then getting the sonic improvement that Cryogenic treatment brings to the valve.

The cryo treated valves have a smoother distortion with more detail and clarity. The valve has more bite and better focus and they produce a sound that is only attainable by using very expensive new old stock valves.

The ECC83 Retro Cryo retains the classic Marshall crunch and provides a harmonically rich and detailed sound with excellent 3 dimension midrange response. This valve has a traditional British voiced sound and the Cryo treatment improves this valves sonic signature and gives exceptional depth in the midrange. The cryo treatment enhances the smooth linear midrange response and gives extended frequency response so you get smooth warm and punchy midrange with excellent clarity and tight fat punchy lows. The Cryo treatment also improves the valves overdriven characteristics providing a warm sustaining sound with plenty of upper harmonics. This captures that classic vintage Marshall sound better than all the other ECC83/12AX7 that I have tried.

The Harma EL34 Retro Cryo is based on the famous Mullard EL34 XF2 design and has a number of important features over standard EL34 types. The grids of the tube use a block construction this enables the valve to provide smoother output and eliminating odd order harmonics. The result is a tight bass response with a balanced sound stage and clean clear treble. Thicker glass not only adds strength but also provides lower microphonics.

This valve is then Cryo treated which gives the following improvements over the standard untreated item. The valve now has a richer clear treble response which has more clarity and bite at the top end. The cryo treatment enhances the valves mid forwardness give a full sustaining tone when overdriven which is especially good on solo's. The bass end is very tight and well focused and crunches with more weight than the standard EL34.
The Harma EL34 Retro Cryo will suit the vast majority of guitarists from the classic rock player, the hard rock and metal player who want that classic Marshall sound.

The EL34 Harma Retro Cryo also attained a 5 star review in Guitar Buyer magazine therefore making this the ideal valve for the governors' amps
