The Weber Ceramic Signature 8 15 watt 4ohm is a custom order speaker for blues harmonica players from the Weber Signature series. The speaker features the Weber H dust cap and the speaker is broken in to produce a warm rich sound.
It features a 10oz Ceramic magnet, 15 watt, 1" voice coil with straight/smooth cone and H dust cap. This speaker was designed for all Champs with 8" speaker, to replace Oxford 8EV, Chicago Jensen P8R, C8R.
The Speaker has an early breakup with warm and punchy highs. When pushed the speaker compresses and fattens at high volume. It have a rich aggressive sound that produces that Little Walter/Sonny Boy sound. The Ceramic speaker offers later breakup and more punch than the Alnico version of this speaker. Will fit in tweed and early BF Champsand is ideal in turning an Epi Valve junior into a great harp amp.

Fitting dedicated Harp speakers makes a huge difference to your sound. Here is an E mail from Richard Breeze who has fitted Webers to his Fender amp.
"Derek,Many thanks for supplying me with 4 x Weber VST Ceramic ‘Harmonica’ Speakers for my 1962 Fender Concert. The amp was fitted with 4 x Kendrick Black Frame Speakers, which whilst being very good guitar speakers themselves, don’t do what these dedicated harp speakers do. The Webers bring the sound right out of the amp being good and gritty at the bottom end, strong in the middle and rolling off sweetly at the top. They made a noticeable positive difference over the Kendricks and the amp now gives me the Chicago sound, along with the right valves and mic, that I want. Makes a change to have something especially made for the harp that actually delivers. Great service and thanks again. Great Christmas present to myself!!! "
